Tested on court

New Balance Hesi Low V2 performance

Compare with other models

Traction5.0/5

Very tacky grip on clean courts that stays consistent even with light dust buildup.

Cushioning4.0/5

Soft, protective ride with decent court feel, an improvement in bounce over the original Hesi Low.

Support4.0/5

Molded heel counter and midfoot shank plate give strong heel lockdown and torsional stability, though the soft upper can limit lateral hold on hard cuts.

Size and fit

Fit Glove-like, snug fit that runs true to size for most. Wide feet may prefer half a size up for extra room.
