Last weekend, BounceWear's first basketball event in London occurred in South East London. We partnered with our good friends at Simply British Ballers and headed to Deptford's recently renovated Blue Cage Courts, hosting an under 19's 1v1 tournament.
The prize?
The highly sought-after Kobe 8 Protro 'Halo's - sold out across the country and dripping with gold dust across the world.
Hopefuls brought their game from the city's four corners to compete in a tough contest.
Eventually, it was 18-year-old Omari Asare from Conel College who took home the coveted prize and hit our store to lace 'em up just a few days later!
Prince-Joshua Megbo (17) of the Candi Eagles left with a double prize, being awarded the runner-up honours as well as an unforgettable 'Play of the Day'. He brought out the body bag with a filthy 1 handed jam and took away a pair of performance shoes as his reward.
