Meet Ehi Faith Etute, fondly known as Ehis, a budding athlete hailing from Luxembourg. With Nigerian heritage from her father's side, sports have always been a pivotal part of her life. Starting with handball and transitioning to basketball, Ehis found in the latter a means of emotional expression and self-management. It's not just a pastime for her; basketball is where she thrives, forging lasting friendships and bonds with fellow enthusiasts.

The U18 European Championship
Winning against the odds was exhilarating.
For Ehis, the championship was a rollercoaster of emotions. Emerging as the tournament's dark horse, their unexpected journey captivated many. They defied expectations, showcasing unwavering determination game after game, culminating in a commendable performance in the final.
Ehis' individual stats were stellar, from a remarkable 40 pts/ 33reb/ 6ast/ 8stl against Romania to an impressive 48 pts/ 24reb/ 2ast/ 6stl against Slovakia, averaging 31.5 pts/ 23.3 reb/ 4.3 ast/ 6.2 stl per game. Despite falling short in the final against Croatia, their flawless run garnered Ehis attention from numerous universities and coaches abroad.
University of Oregon
Among the enticing offers, Ehis opted for the University of Oregon, following in the footsteps of basketball luminary Sabrina Ionescu. Balancing academics and athletics, she aims to excel both on and off the court. With the U.S. renowned for its basketball fervor, Ehis embraces the opportunity to evolve as a player and leader. Additionally, her selection for the Nike Hoop Summit 2024 with Team World adds another feather to her cap.
