Social Media Manager
Are you a skilled social media professional with a deep passion for basketball, a knack for photography, and a drive to create impactful online engagement? Bouncewear, the go-to basketball specialty store in Europe, is looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to take our brand's digital presence to the next level. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our online community, driving engagement, amplifying our voice across multiple platforms, and bringing the Bouncewear experience to basketball fans everywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Curation: Craft, curate, and schedule high-quality content across Bouncewear’s social media channels. This includes creating engaging posts, videos, and stories that reflect our brand identity and resonate with our basketball-centric community.
Photography: Use your studio photography skills to create visually compelling images of our products. Capture clean, high-quality shots that showcase our gear, bringing each item to life and ensuring consistency with our visual branding.
Platform Management & Engagement: Develop and implement strategies for each social media platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and more), adapting our voice and visuals to optimize engagement and follower growth on each channel.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and tags, building relationships that foster a loyal, engaged community around the Bouncewear brand.
Campaign Planning & Execution: Collaborate with our marketing team to plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns that align with brand goals, product launches, and seasonal trends, ensuring that all content is released on time and achieves targeted outcomes.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on social media, photography, and video trends. Regularly bring fresh, innovative ideas to keep our content relevant and engaging.
Reporting & Analytics: Track, measure, and report on content performance, engagement metrics, and follower growth. Use data insights to continually refine and optimize our strategies for each platform.
Requirements:
Proven Social Media Experience: Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms for brands, particularly within lifestyle, sports, or retail sectors.
Photography Skills: Proficiency in studio photography, with an ability to capture high-quality images that are visually appealing and in line with our brand standards. A portfolio of previous photography work is required.
Strong Visual Eye: An understanding of visual branding and the ability to create cohesive, aesthetically pleasing content that reflects Bouncewear’s style.
Passion for Basketball: A genuine enthusiasm for basketball and a good understanding of the sport, its culture, and trends in basketball gear and apparel.
Organizational & Project Management Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines consistently, and handle the demands of a fast-paced environment.
Trend Awareness: In-depth knowledge of current social media trends, new platforms, and best practices, especially with video content on TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Analytical Skills: Proficient with social media analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Facebook Analytics) to track performance and provide actionable insights.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey Bouncewear’s brand voice clearly and consistently.
Adaptability & Creativity: Ability to adapt to changing trends and experiment with new formats and ideas to keep our content fresh and engaging.
