NEW TEAM, FAMILIAR FACE

10. SERGE IBAKA

The 2019 NBA Champion is back in Europe and will join Pablo Laso’s squad Bayern Munich.  

He has career averages of 12.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks in 919 games (697 starts) over 14 seasons. 

Ibaka played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic, and Los Angeles Clippers. An interesting addition for the German club, if he stayes healthy.
At 33 years old, Ibaka will bring all his leadership and experience to a team who want to shine this season.

9. RAUL NETO

Having played 464 games in the NBA, split across the regular season and the playoffs, Neto arrives at Fenerbahce with plenty of experience under his belt. 

The 31 years old Brazilian guard has receives all the confidence from his coach Dimitris Itoudis, Neto can be a very good floor general for the Turkish team.
Ambitions are per usual sky-high in Istanbul, after 3 seasons without reaching the Final Four, will they be back on the big stage end of the season? 


8. JABARI PARKER

The 28-year-old Parker was selected as the second overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NBA draft. 

Since then he has been in the NBA for eight years and played 321 games in the league.
His appearances are although have been limited, including only the 31 games he played between 2019 and 2022. A knee injury prevented him from reaching his full potential.  

Barcelona might not take a safe bet for a fully operational player looking to restart his career, but if he stays healthy the bet can be very worth it for the Spanish Armada!


7. KOSTAS SLOUKAS

One of the craziest signings this summer!
Olympiacos’ Superstar just joined the eternal rival Panathinaikos! 

After a decent season with Olympiacos with 11.0pts, 2.1reb, 5.6ast, 14.7PIR over 36 games, Sloukas dind’t find a way to negociate the extension with the Reds he was looking for. 

Now he has switched colors in Athens, the guard will be a master piece on his new team. His new coach, Ergin Ataman trusts him a lot and will give him a lot of responsability. We can’t wait to watch his first EL game against his old team, his old fans will be ready for a more then warm welcome!


6. MATTHIAS LESSORT

He is arguably the best center of the 2022-23 season in Euroleague. 

Partizans rebounding leader in the 22-23 season, averaging 7.1 rebounds per game. He also ranks second in Performance Index with an average of 19.1 per game, trailing only MVP Sasha Vezenkov's 21.5. 

Lessort, 27 years old, is a beast inside the paint, solid showings in both offense and defense with energy bursting out across the whole season. 

Playing in Athens and being supported by Green Army fans is a great sensation, very similar to what he experienced in Belgrade.

5. Facundo Campazzo

Real Madrid just won another chip, but is still hungry! Campazzo returns to the Spain’s powerhouse. After a good season in Serbia with 15.0pts, 2.8reb, 5.9ast, 18.7PIR the Argentinean guard is back « at home »! 

His creativity and experience is likely to up the game for the reigning EuroLeague champions.  Enough for the back-to-back? Only time will tell...


4. NIKOLA MIROTIC

After 4 years in Barcelona, Mirotic is still looking for his first EL Trophy, and this year he will try to bring Milan to the top of the old continent. 

Last season he was one of the top players in the league with 15.4pts, 4.3rbd, 1.2ast, 16.4PIR over 29 games but unfortunately was disappointing during the Final Four. 

 Nikola will bring all his experience and his scoring ability to the Italian club. 

3. JUANCHO HERNANGOMEZ

« Bo Cruz » is back in Europe! Juancho, 27 years old, is leaving the NBA after seven years and will debut in the EuroLeague with Panathinaikos. 

The Power Forward is a real treat on European style of play, like we already could enjoy with Spanish National Team.

A very impressive team, and Juancha teaming up with Lessort will be a must watch!

2. WILLY HERNANGOMEZ

What's one without two? One Hernangomez brother was not enough for this years Euroleague campaign so Willy is back in Europe too and joined Barcelona. 

Back in Europe after seven years and 345 games played in the NBA with the New York Knicks, Charlotte Hornets, and New Orleans Pelicans. The 2022 Eurobasket MVP will be one of the best players on the court during this season, and at 29 years old, he is ready to bring his leadership and his talent to Barcelona in the race to the top of Europe. 

1. KEMBA WALKER

The biggest move in Euroleague history? The Hype is real!

For Sure Kemba is not the same player then a few years ago, but still a hell of player when healthy!  

A 4 times NBA All-Star and Charlotte Hornets All Time leading scorer, he's got nothing to prove!

Kemba Walker accepted the challenge to bounce back in the second most competitive league in the world.  Partnering up with other stars like Mike James, Jordan Loyd and Eli Okobo, Monaco have maybe the best backcourt in the Euroleague History.
