In his rookie campaign, Jordan was already setting franchise records for the Bulls, on his way to winning the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. Averaging 28 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 6 assists a game, MJ led the Bulls from being a losing team to a playoff contender. Giving the fans a taste of the greatness to come, Jordan was voted an NBA All-Star and was selected to the NBA All-Rookie First Team and All-NBA Second Team.
